John Santos is a Biology teacher in San Diego, California and a founding member of High Tech High Schools.
High Tech High consists of a group of project-based schools that focus on creating equitable learning opportunities designed to engage each member of their diverse student community.
Exploring the sciences with his students is one of John’s strongest passions and project-based learning is fundamental to his teaching philosophies. In addition to learning from his immediate community of educators, John has had the chance to collaborate and learn alongside the most progressive, inspirational, inventive educators around the world. PBL and its surrounding practices are constantly evolving. John is looking forward to opportunities to share perspectives and workshop with groups of educators looking to change what learning might look like in the classroom.
